Bob Anderson, an Olympic fencer and movie sword master, recently passed away at the age of 89 years young. Those of us who have followed fight choreography and stage combat have all come across his name in multiple films, most notably (but not limited to) the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "Pirates of the Caribbean", "The Princess Bride", and the man behind the mask of Darth Vader in "Star Wars". A true legend in the field, Bob's knowledge has spanned decades and left his mark in the minds and hearts of everyone he worked with. He will truly be missed, though he will never be forgotten.
